Group work

Today in class, me, Charlie and Junior came up with an idea that me and Junior are bank robbers coming from a poor background. Junior being the older and confident one who came up with this, he had also took me in as a child after my mum died of cancer, ever since we were like brothers. Myself being the, nervous and slightly shakey character who doesn't overly want to do this but feels he has to repay Junior. At the start our two characters have a character and i'm off somewhere acting innocent whilst Junior goes over to Charlie, the bank clerk, and demands the money then i come over with a bag and a gun which Junior eventually takes off me. Forcefully, we make Charlie lead us to the safe and demand him to open it, which he denies which leads to Junior shooting an innocent hostage. I walk off a little, not agreeing with the shooting and then whilst Charlie gathers the money, me and Junior step away a little, having a conversation where i am seen panicking about us getting done for Armed Robbery and Murder. Once we get the money off Charlie, Junior shoots him, claiming there can be no witnesses and then we run off. Near to the end of the play Junior takes the bag off me and i ask him 3 times about the shares, after the second time taking my mask off, with each time i get louder and louder but Junior tries to avoid it but on the third he then says that he will take all the money and will kill me. I tell him i will grass him up to the police and when he turns around i attempt to run away before he shoots me in the back, causing me to fall to the ground, dead.

My Groups Idea.

Today, me, Josh Broome and Junior came up the idea of a shooting. We have me as the teacher, Josh as a bully, stuck up rich kid and Junior, the poor boy who had been bullied by the rich kid. The story is one day Junior is late to class and i tell him to sit down whilst Josh shouts out "Poor!" to him, and i pretend to not here it then, Junior pulls out a gun. I get down on the floor and try to talk him out of shooting me until i go up to him to try and get the gun and he shoots me, then Josh, not seeing the gun, comes up to him and asks why i'm dead on the floor. Where he then once again insults Junior and Junior pulls out the gun again, Josh makes up a bunch of excuses saying he was only joking until Junior finally shoots him. The scene then going onto a monologue by Junior saying why he killed us and what he wanted, to not have a life without everyday essentials.

Characters:

Nathan: Mr Parks, the teacher who taught both the kids, seeing Alex bully Franklin multiple times but doing nothing about it,
Junior: Franklin, the poor boy who had been bullied by countless kids and eventually the murderer.
Josh: Alexander, the rich kid who had everything, good grades, good life, good family. Also the main bully who had bullied Franklin.

Everyone Has A story

there could be 5 brothers who grew up on the mean streets of america with gangs drugs killings etc 4 of the brothers decide they want to make a better life for themselves but one of them enjoys living the gangsta life and so the brother ends up in prison and each brother visits him one by one and he tells each one a different story and the 5 brothers all act in it as different characters and the same thing happens when the next brother comes to visit and in the end the 4 brothers decide to bail him out and teach him to leave well and stay off the streets

Chiwetel Ojiofor

Chiwetel Ojiofor inspires me because I find it amazing that though his whole family was in the business of medicine he had the courage and desire to say he wanted to do something else and he chose acting and excelled and has established himself as one of the greatest actors of his generation being nominated for 3 golden globes. Chiwetel is not only a "Tv Actor" but he can also act to a very high standard on a stage. Chiwetel has a lot of Skills that  I admire for example he puts a lot of Hand gestures when he performed stage and puts them in at exactly the right time so it dosent look like he is nervous and is showing this by moving or figiting. The skill I admire most about Chiwetel is His Versatility for example he has played Romeo on stage and has played a main role of doctor Adrian Helmsley in the film "2012" the film went on to make 700 million dollars and is one of the highest grossing films ever. I would really like to mould Chiweter Ojiofors Versatility into my work because I believe I believe it will me become a completely different person to help me become my character Bill and help me focus on becoming my character and not just being me acting a different person on stage. :) thanks for reading!
